Hi Friends,
I have shifted to my new personal blog
So i wont be posting here any more…
So after a long gap of almost 6 months my dear friend Somesh reminded me about my blog, which i haven’t updated for a long time.
I don’t know the reason for this long gap, but it seems that i was too busy with life to pay attention to my blog site
Thanks for the reminder Somesh.
I am back in action now !
….watch out for more….
This is a punch line that “Kelkar Sir” use to use number of times while teaching me assembly language programming.
And he was quite right….
We as humans want to achieve many things in life, and the important part is that we want to achieve it “fast”.
and then we see what we can do to achieve the results “fast” . If someone wants to lose weight (say 5kgs) , so he will not be able to do it in short time (by doing any crash diet)…since he has gained the weight with time…so the process of losing weight should also be gradual….else one is going against the law of nature…
Why this is necessary for us to understand is because then our approach towards acheiveing any goal becomes perfect. If one has to build wealth, then he can not do it overnight, he has to start by saving from this point onwards…However small the amount may be, one should remember that it will take time to save, but eventually he will achieve the goal….
Now why i am talking about this : Since its new year time and all are set with the new year resolutions.
So to achieve your resolutions, remember..- “go slow to go fast”….
Wishing you all a very Happy New Year !!!
We Won…but we lost Dada…
This was the subject of the email send by perci immediately after India defeated Aussies yesterday by a convincing 2-0 margin in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2008. It was so very true.
Fortunately i was able to watch the last few moments of the match live…I was in joy the moment we took the last wicket, and then i suddenly realized…oh wait…that means we will never see Dada again on the ground
So basically i had mixed feeling about that moment. Was happy about the match and also sad at the same moment since Dada was to leave.
Dhoni handed over the captaincy to Dada for the last few overs was a great thing for me. Dhoni really is a man with a firm head on his shoulders. and i know even Dada would wish that Dhoni will break his record as the most successful captain of India.
Many times we dont realize the value of the senior players until they leave. At this moment at least i think there is a big vaccum created after Jumbo and Dada quit. It is up to the youngsters to fill up this gap now.
Dada , We just want to say Thanks to you for all the glories you gave to the Indian Cricket. Thanks for building the “Team India”. Thanks for creating the spirit that “Yes!! we can beat any team in the world”
We are going to miss you a lot ! We are going to miss the smooth drives through OFF-Side ! We are going to miss the massive SIXES coming down the track ! We are going to miss the Aggression!
But i guess its time for you to spend your time with your family.
All the best for your future.
We will always remember you as “Dada – The Fighter”.
Hi,
Back after a long gap
)…Was out of town over the weekend and took a off to office since was not feeling well
)
But i definitely couldn’t resist myself today after what i experienced on the Television.
For the whole day whenever i switched ON my TV, i was seeing the breaking news about “harbhajan & sreesanth”…and that would have been ok with me, except for when i read a small line during this breaking news that “ISRO sets world record with 10 launches”.
Wow! what an achievement by the ISRO, hats off!!…
But i was utterly disappointed when i saw that this news of ISRO was not been given a grade of “Breaking New”…instead it was the drama of the IPL (slapping of sreesanth by harbhajan – two most arrogant and useless fellows of Indian cricket)…
The Indian media must be able to put the achievements by the country in proper way…but i guess the (pathetic) media is only interested in cricket contraversies , cheerleader issues….which is all secondary.
Please note here that i am not again cricket, i am myself a huge fan of cricket.
The media , which is supposed to play its important role in the development of the country, is not even aware of what a “breaking news” is…
shame on all the channels (except DD news to some extent)
Personal finance is something i have become serious about. May you call it the post-marriage effect, but yes i am serious than never before

Once he was the captain of the team, he was known to be a fighter, he always backed the youngsters, he showed to flintoff that we also have guts to remove our shirts and celebrate….
But then, life has other paths too…he was out of form, he was humiliated and removed from the team…to a extent that everyone thought his career has come to an end….
Who would have imagined that this man will make such a comeback, Even myself ( a gr8 fan of dada) thought once that Dada’s career has ended. Infact everyone thought it except he himself. He knew that he had much cricket left in him.
I still remember the ad where he mentioned “apne dada ko bhule to nahin”….It was such a emotional ad,that i felt this is what one gets after lifting the team to a new high (specially after the match-fixing scandal)
Your fans will never forget you Dada, But most importantly your Critics will also not forget you now, since you have given them a mouth-shutting answer.
It was a real comeback this year for Dada , and its not only motivating for cricketers, it in general applies to any person who is facing a downfall in life.
Dada teaches you how to overcomes the odds in your path with Determination.
He is a real Fighter….
Mr. Sambit Bal mentions on cricinfo
“There are many, me included, who believed Ganguly’s time as an international cricketer was over. Now We owe him an apology and a salute.”
Many a times we are not organized enough to follow a discipline about the tasks in hand, let it be official or personal. So thought of putting up few easy steps to become a little organized, if not perfect J
Official Tasks Handling:
Break down the main task of your day into small subtasks.
· Plan for around 1-5 subtasks on day
Allocate/Estimate time for each task
Set the order/priority of the tasks
If possible list down how you are going to use the 8 hours in the office (do not consider lunch time, tea breaks, chat breaks into this)
Check out your tasks list at lunch and see what progress you are making, if needed you may shift the order as per the need.
Mark a task as complete as soon as it is done. It always gives a feeling of satisfaction J
At the end of the day, again have a look at your task list
Ideally you should have completed your tasks for the day, if not then carry forward those subtasks to the next day.
Remember that when you plan any number of subtasks for the day, it should be achievable. Don’t be too positive and think that you might handle everything. Be Realistic.
Head for home in a happy mood and feeling good about your achievements for the day.
Personal Tasks Handling:
Create a list of to-dos for the day (like calling a friend, sending an email to someone, shopping in evening etc…).
For this you can use a small diary and pen
Assign specific time in the day for these tasks.
If needed put reminder in your Outlook, Cell phones for this.
Remember that you don’t spend too much time on this personal tasks in the office working hours (if it needs > 10mins, defer it to the non-office hours)
Mark a task as complete as soon as it is done.
One rule, never give a highest priority to a personal task during official hours unless it is really that important.
Hello Friends,
Today is 23rd august. This day in year 2000,we all met for the first time in SEED. That day and today…..seven years have passed…and in these seven years…..i have been blessed by the lovely friendship of 6 people……the pioneers of the Enthu group .
It seems as if it just happened last year, that we all met…did the training in SEED together….upen bhai coping up with a injury at that time ….tushky..use to come late…after a nice sleep…….swati, she was the only face that I knew already….Venkat…the perfectionist….documentation DON… :-) Believe me Venkat, now I certainly realize why documentation is so important …. Yuvati and Shilpa , the gals with whom I talked for the first time in the corridor of the institute…
The studies we did at tushar’s place…the time we spent at shilpa and swati’s flat…the parties…the treks….those memories are really wonderful…..
Now, Shilpeee..is in US, upen and swati inB’lore…or is it Bangaluru ?? ….and rest in pune …
Its good to see that we still share the same bonding…..
Finally, thank you all for being a part of my life….your friendship is one of the most valuable things I have in life…. God Bless you all.
As decided we all met 7.30 at Pune Station, and prashant showed some good skills for getting the tickets in time, inspite of the long long queue
) thanks prashant.
The local moved at 8.00am sharp as we all got into the same boggie…gals got the chance to sit…but we preferred to sit in the doors hanging our legs outside
) he he…now that is fun…

Reached Malavali at 9.15, and immed rushed to have some snacks…as everyone was too hungry and after a round of 2 wada pavs + tea…felt a bit better:).. Meanwhile myself and prashant saw a express coming and thought of putting a coin on the track, but to our bad luck , the coin flew somewhere the moment the express landed on it….we were searching for the coin….but couldnt find it.
( and then came a person from the railway authority and explained us the funda of why not to such things…but we ignored him and then we all moved towards the Bhaja village
As always had some snaps session on the bridge over express way. and then went to the bhaja village. After crossing the village we stopped at the first waterfall, but had not chance there…then went to the second waterfall and there prashant took the initiative to go up the waterfall and then slowly all the rockers joined him and in no time we conquered the waterfall
….

After enjoying the waterfall, we started towards the fort..
We reached the place from where we can either to move to Lohagad towards right or to Visapur towards left. We had a halt at that point
Had some “garam garam pohe”
) and “limbu sarbat”…and then moved towards Visapur.
Visapur is a kind of haunted place…specially if you have fog on the
fort..this time it was not
….We started climbing up the fort. It was a
rocky way uphill..but we really enjoyed the climbing…Bhavana specially we very fast and in no time she was moving at the top…while as Maky was left behind
)…

Mak and Yogya (the Birthday boy ) had a round of “natural” photos…
)) and finally we all climbed up the fort….
Then we wandered on the fort. It was a great site…We could see the
Lohagad fort in front….then the Tikona fort on other side…and of
course the long express way…making way thru all the mountains….

We really didn’t had anything with us for lunch apart from some boiled eggs…so we shared those amongst us and that was our lunch for the day
)). Had some great foto session again….and then decided to move down…
Now here was the most thrilling part of the trek. We decided to come down from the other route (not from the one we came up)…it was really a exciting path…no real foot – path, so we decided to come along the water way….thru the rocks….
After few minutes of climbing down, myself saw a prominent path to the right side…as we were at the last, myself, priya, vinay and priti went that way….but found that it was taking us the a wrong direction…so we explored some other paths in that 15-20 mins…but hard luck…so came back to the same place where we left the others and again started thru the water way rocks…then tried to call these guys by shouting as loud as we could..finally managed to see prashant, manju, ranjit and yogya….
so a sigh of relief
))
While moving yogya’s right foot got stuck in between two rocks and he had a hard time to make it free….not more than 5 mins had passed, at the same spot priti stuck up her right foot and started shouting
…that was a “kodak” moment really…i helped her to remove her foot from the rocks…and then again started moving ahead.
Again we all moved together..and after some time decided to move towards a path that was going towards left side….on that way we met a person(farmer) who helped us the get on the correct path towards the bhaja village..
On the way, we got a chance to get some really nice natural water for drinking…i bet that was as clean as a bisleri…and was natural too with all the minerals
))
Then at around 7.00 we were near the bhaja village…and moved towards the rail station very fast as we had to catch the 7.40 local…we didnt even get the chance to have a cup of tea…the local was more imp…. gals got into the ladies section (and again to their naseeb…got place to sit) while as we guys had to stand. but it was fun…
We reached pune station at around 9.10, then went for dinner near a
restaurant at pune station.
Finally reached home at around 10.30.
It was a memorable trek !!
